Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival Cairo - Welcome to Egypt
You will arrange your own flight to Cairo. On arrival at Cairo airport and after you leave your aircraft, you’ll be welcomed by our representative member. Then transfer to the hotel
Day 2: Pyramids, Egyptian Museum and Khan El Khalili Bazaar – Evening sleeper train to Luxor
After the breakfast you will meet your guide and start visits to the Highlights of Cairo which is visiting the three Pyramids (Cheops, Chephren and Mycarenes), the valley temple of Chephren, and of course the great Sphinx. Then stop by Papyrus institute where can find how the ancient Egyptians used the papyrus for writing and can buy some souvenirs for you and your friends and visit natural oils shop (perfume). In the afternoon enjoy and discover the amazing Egypt’s history in your visit to the Egyptian Museum with more than 250,000 artefacts from all over the country, you will have plenty to see on your tour. The treasures of King Tutankhamen the most famous King in Egypt and the museum. No cameras allowed inside the Egyptian Museum.
After that drive to Islamic Cairo with walking tour in the 1000 years old "El Muizz" street which is considered as an open air museum for Terrific Islamic Buildings which are decorated with different patterns and paints, then going to Khan el Khalili Bazaar the oldest Bazaar which is one of Cairo's main attractions. In the evening transfer to Giza train station for the train to Aswan, on board of a sleeper train to Luxor dinner is served on the train.
Optional add-on: Inside the Great Pyramid
This day excursion does not include a visit to the inside of the Great Pyramid. If you want to visit it, please note that the number of visitors allowed to enter is limited to 150 in the morning and 150 in the afternoon. If you want to buy a ticket your tour guide will assist at the ticket office. (extra charge)
Day 3: Arrival in Luxor - Karnak & Luxor Temples (Breakfast)
Arrive to Luxor train station and meet your guide to start the tour to visit the Temple of Karnak, one of the most significant monuments of the Pharaonic legacy then, head for Luxor Temple to admire its columns, courts and statues. Overnight in the hotel.
Day 4: Monuments of Ancient Thebes (Breakfast+Dinner)
A short trip across the Nile will take you to the west bank of the Nile and the Valley of the Kings the mountain-cut tombs of 63 of ancient Egypt’s rulers; Temple of Queen Hatshepsut (El-Deir El-Bahari) Hatshepsut was the first female pharaoh of Egypt. She reigned between 1473 and 1458 B.C. Her name means “foremost of noblewomen” then move to the Colossi of Memnon, two huge seated statues of Amenhotep III. In the evening you will be transfer to Luxor train station to travel to Cairo.
Day 5: Medieval Cairo (Breakfast)
In the morning arrive to Giza train station, you will meet your Egyptologist guide and you will visit the Citadel of Salah El Din & Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque. Then visit to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat that is displaying the history of four crafts in Egypt from prehistory to modern history. After that visit the Coptic Cairo to see the historical Coptic churches around the Roman fortress of Babylon, the Holy Family’s Cave, the Hanging Church, Abu Serga and take a look at the Ben Ezra Synagogue.
Optional add-on: In the evening you can enjoy a 2 hours Nile River dinner Cruise you enjoy a colorful belly dancing show with a folklore band, featuring the unforgettable Tannoura and enjoy a full buffet dinner excluding drinks. (extra charge)
Day 6: Fly Back Home (Breakfast)
After breakfast our representative will meet you at the hotel and transfer you to Cairo airport for your flight back home.
