Itinerary
DAY 1 ≈ Arrival Cairo - Welcome to Egypt
You will arrange your own flight to Cairo. On arrival at Cairo airport and after you leave your aircraft, you’ll be welcomed by our representative member. Then transfer to the hotel.
DAY 2 ≈ Pyramids of Giza and Saqqara (Breakfast)
After the breakfast you will meet your guide and start visit three Pyramids (Cheops, Chephren and Mycarenes), the valley temple of Chephren, and of course the great Sphinx. After that stop by Papyrus institute where can find how the ancient Egyptians used the papyrus for writing and can buy some souvenirs for you and your friends and visit natural oils shop.
Then visit to the necropolis of Saqqara, including the famous Step Pyramid of Djoser, the pyramid complexes of Kings Unas and Teti, rock tombs, ornate mastabas and temples and visiting the new Imhotep Museum at Saqqara. Overnight in the hotel.
Optional add-on: Sound and light show at Pyramids of Giza is one of the best things to do at night in Cairo and watch the pyramids and Sphinx are illuminated in multi-colored lasers and visual projections, and listen to the booming music and commentary emanating from the Sphinx that tells the stories of ancient Egypt and the pyramids. After the show back to your hotel. (additional charge)
Inside the Great Pyramid
This day excursion does not include a visit to the inside of the Great Pyramid. If you want to visit it, please note that the number of visitors allowed to enter is limited to 150 in the morning and 150 in the afternoon. If you want to buy a ticket for an additional cost, no cameras allowed) your tour guide will assist at the ticket office.
DAY 3 ≈ Alexandria (Breakfast)
Full day tour to Alexandria start at 06:30 am (Breakfast box) from your hotel in Cairo and you will meet your guide and driver to travel to Alexandria (219 km north-west – approximately three hour’s drive) Start the tour with visit to Royal Jewelry Museum. After that visit to the Catacombs of Kom es-Shoqafa, with its curious mix of Roman, early Christian and Persian icons. Continue the tour to the library of Alexandria from outside then Fort Qaitbey a massive 15th century defence fort built on the northern tip of Pharos Island. After that drive back to Cairo maximum moving at 5:00 pm.
DAY 4 ≈ Egyptian Museum, Citadel and Coptic Cairo – (Breakfast)
In the morning, after breakfast, with a private Egyptologist guide you will visit the Egyptian Museum on the north side of Tahrir square in downtown Cairo. The museum houses approximately 160,000 objects covering 5,000 years of Egypt's past and the glittering treasures of Tutankhamun. No cameras allowed inside the Egyptian Museum. Then visit to the Coptic Cairo to see the historical Coptic churches around the Roman fortress of Babylon, the Holy Family’s Cave, the Hanging Church, Abu Serga and take a look at the Ben Ezra Synagogue. After that visit the Citadel of Salah El Din & Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque. Drive to Islamic Cairo with walking tour in the 1000 years old "El Muizz" street which is considered as an open air museum for Terrific Islamic Buildings which are decorated with different patterns and paints, then going to Khan el Khalili Bazaar the oldest Bazaar which is one of Cairo's main attractions.
Optional add-on: In the evening you can enjoy a 2 hours Nile River dinner Cruise you enjoy a colorful belly dancing show with a folklore band, featuring the unforgettable Tannoura and enjoy a full buffet dinner excluding drinks. (additional charge)
DAY 5 ≈ Fly Back Home (Breakfast)
Breakfast at the hotel our representative will meet you at the hotel and transfer you to Cairo airport for your flight back home.
